Joanna Metzner-Sadurski: A New Vision for Rehabilitation and Patient-Centered Cancer Care

Joanna Metzner – Sadurski, President of Oncology101.org, Adjunct Professor at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine, shared on LinkedIn:

“Self Regional Healthcare.

Exciting day at Self Medical Center Cross Creek as we celebrate the renovation kickoff for a space that represents much more than new walls and equipment.

This project brings together Self Regional Healthcare, USC, and Lander University in a powerful collaboration focused on rehabilitation training, exercise oncology, and the future of patient-centered cancer care.

For our patients, this means building strength, function, confidence, and quality of life during and after treatment.

For students and future healthcare professionals, it creates a hands-on learning environment where rehabilitation, oncology, and wellness come together in a meaningful way.

Exercise oncology is no longer an ‘extra’.

It is becoming an essential part of comprehensive cancer care, and this partnership takes that work to a completely different level.

Under the leadership of Matthew Logan, this collaboration reflects Self Regional’s commitment to delivering great care regardless of ZIP code.

Grateful to everyone helping bring this vision to life for Greenwood and the patients we serve.”
