“Great meeting at South Carolina Medical Association meeting with SC House of Representatives member Sylleste Davis and SC Senator Danny Verdin to discuss American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) advocacy priorities-including NIH funding, telehealth access, and prior authorization reform.
These conversations matter. We must continue to educate lawmakers and ensure they understand the real challenges our patients face.
Rural communities face workforce shortages, long travel distances, and financial toxicity. But living in a rural area should never mean receiving substandard care-our patients deserve better.
Grateful for the leadership at Self Regional Healthcare and the vision of our CEO Matthew Logan, MD, MHCM in delivering high-quality cancer care close to home.
This is why we must continue to speak with one voice when it comes to patient care.
Grateful to South Carolina Medical Association for connecting leaders, doctors and helping educate and inform meaningful conversations in healthcare.
It was great to see Asutosh Gor from Rock Hill working closely with Kashyap Patel on NOLA No One Left Alone – Solving cancer health disparities.”
