“Utilizing hospitalist physicians in pediatric hematology-oncology is still a relatively new practice.
While hospitalists may have initially been a solution to covering nights and weekends as training programs were changing, the role has developed into an essential part of the care team at many institutions and a potential career opportunity for physicians.
This survey, led by Zachary Prudowsky, and in colloboration with Liza-Marie Johnson and Jason Freedman, explores the perspective of hospitalist physicians in PHO settings.”
