“A bibliphile’s dream – an afternoon at the Harvard University Libraries, perusing all kinds of rare manuscripts.
Getting to handle a Shakespeare First Folio was a surprisingly evocative experience – a tangible connection with one of the greatest triumphs of the human intellect.
Also got to interact with fragments from a Gutenberg Bible, and the original illustrations from Alice in Wonderland.
A unique day out, but obviously only an appetizer to the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) Annual Meeting main course kicking off tomorrow.”
