“After almost five years at Florida Cancer Specialists and Research Institute, I’m closing an extraordinary chapter.
My time at FCS has been a master class in leadership, healthcare, law, and the complexities of delivering exceptional cancer care.
I’ve had the privilege of learning from and leading alongside extraordinary executives, physicians, board members, lawyers, and subject-matter experts and am immensely proud of all we accomplished together.
I am immensely grateful for the incredible colleagues who became true friends.
My commitment to community oncology, patient rights, access to excellent care, and better resources for cancer patients and their families will continue.
I will continue to lend my voice to things I believe in.
And I will remain an especially grateful FCS patient.
What will change: for the first time in my career, I’m intentionally pausing.
I’ll spend uninterrupted time with my family, make a dent in my ‘to be read’ pile, and maybe even do some yoga… before exploring a few long-simmering ideas.
