“Role of Precision Oncology in Leukemias; Aimed for personal care
In this paper “Molecularly targeted therapy and immunotherapy in leukemias”, Dr. Elle Cousin and team summarize the role of Precision Oncology in Leukemias. This paper is freely available at the following.
Recent advances in genetic testing and precision medicine have greatly improved how doctors understand and treat leukemia. New sequencing technologies allow doctors to closely examine the genes inside leukemia cells and identify important changes that drive the disease. By carefully analyzing the genetic makeup of leukemia, researchers have developed newer treatments that are more precise and often less toxic than traditional chemotherapy.
This review summarizes how leukemia develops at the molecular level and highlights recent progress in treatment, including targeted therapies, immunotherapies, and emerging RNA – based approaches, offering a broad overview of how research is transforming leukemia care.
The role of Precision Oncology in Leukemias is explained in the following video link.”
