“Last week in Dakar was truly unforgettable. Inaugurating La Maison des Parents with partners, colleagues and friends who made this possible was a unique experience. No parent should ever have to choose between their child or their financial survival. This new home will allow families of children with cancer in Senegal to continue supporting and stay close to their children during treatment. My child matters exists to make access to care possible for every child, no matter who they are or where they are from.
Thank you to ForHope Association, GFAOP – Groupe Franco Africain d’Oncologie Pédiatrique and SDNY, who made this journey together with us Foundation S. Deep recognition also to Yacine S., Eric Bouffet, Nathalie De Sousa Santos, Daouda DIOUF, Mame Ndella Diouf and Fatou Binetou Diagne Akondé.”
