The First-Ever ACCESS at IGCS Annual Global Meeting

International Gynecologic Cancer Society shared a post on LinkedIn:

“The first-ever IGCS Accelerating Cervical Cancer Elimination Strategies Symposia (ACCESS) took place today during the IGCS Annual Global Meeting in Cape Town. This year, IGCS focused on Africa’s strategies, bringing together leaders from across the region. Pictured: esteemed faculty of today’s session and attendees signing the ‘pledge board’ as a symbol of their steadfast commitment to end cervical cancer.

And just next door, IGCS hosted a Preinvasive Cervical Disease Workshop with over 30 learners. Most of the faculty for the workshop were from Africa and previous learners who are now IGCS Mentors!”

The First-Ever ACCESS at IGCS Annual Global Meeting

Julie S Torode, Director of Strategic Partnerships, Patient and Community Engagement, Institute of Cancer Policy at King’s College London, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Wrapped off a great launch of the IGCS ACCESS series in Cape Town with a deep dive on the status, gaps and ways to accelerate scale up of national action across Africa.

A fantastic faculty took us through the cervical cancer care continuum.

More coming soon on building a pan-African movement with the power of the International Gynecologic Cancer Society membership and key continental and national stakeholders driving work across the three pillars.”
