IARC/WHO (International Agency for Research on Cancer/World Health Organization) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“IARC scientists provided the 1st global assessment of cancer attributable to HIV.
81300 cases of cancer were due to HIV in 2022. 70% of these occurred in Africa. Of these, +40% were cases of Cervical Cancer and 35% were Kaposi sarcoma.”
