Honored to Announce John Longshore as Speaker for UNGA High-Level Week – IAPM

International Alliance for Personalised Medicine (IAPM) shared on LinkedIn:

“The future of personalized medicine will depend on more than scientific discovery. It will depend on whether patients can access the right testing, at the right time, wherever they are.

We are pleased to announce that John Longshore, Head of Scientific Affairs, Global Oncology Diagnostics at AstraZeneca and Chair of the Precision Cancer Consortium, will join the International Alliance for Personalised Medicine in New York during UNGA High-Level Week.

With more than 25 years in laboratory medicine, molecular genetics and oncology diagnostics, John has worked across pathology, clinical laboratories, scientific strategy and global healthcare innovation. Before joining AstraZeneca, he spent two decades leading molecular pathology services supporting a major integrated hospital network.

Today, he works to advance biomarker testing, diagnostic evidence and access to precision oncology worldwide. Through his leadership of the Precision Cancer Consortium, he is helping bring together industry, diagnostics, pathology and clinical experts to address one of the field’s most urgent challenges: ensuring that diagnostics open doors to treatment rather than become a barrier to it.

At our New York discussion, John will bring a rare perspective spanning the laboratory, the healthcare system and global oncology strategy.

This is where the future of precision medicine moves from promise to implementation.
