“‘If the sound is missed, what is the use of the voice?’
After evaluating and treating thousands of cancer patients, there is a common factor among most people who are diagnosed with cancer at an advanced stage: delays, postponements, and ignoring symptoms for months or years.
Any symptom that lasts more than a week, such as severe colic, persistent headaches or blood in the stool, don’t ignore it. Cancer is a silent disease, but often your body gives you signals of an abnormality in the body, so don’t ignore it.
The goal is to alert and advise, not intimidate, and change people’s culture of ignoring health symptoms.”
