Humaid Al-Shamsi, CEO of Burjeel Cancer Institute (BCI) Comprehensive Cancer Center, shared a pot on LinkedIn:
“This past weekend, I was honored to participate in the 5th ICCO Annual Conference in Tunisia.
The meeting, held in collaboration with Gustave Roussy, and led by Prof. Salem Chouaib and Prof. Ghazi Jebri, brought together experts to discuss the latest advances in solid tumors and the evolving landscape of cancer care.
One of the highlights of the conference was an excellent talk by Prof. Benoît Van den Eynde , highlighting the progress being made in therapeutic vaccines for solid tumors – an area that continues to hold great promise for the future of oncology.
I also had the pleasure of presenting the progress we are making with our platform – using AI and multi-omics to improve prediction of treatment response, resistance, and prognosis across solid tumors.
Our mission is to move oncology from broad treatment selection to biology – driven precision: identifying who responds, who resists, and how we can better design and enrich clinical trials.
It was an inspiring meeting, full of scientific exchange, collaboration, and shared commitment to advancing cancer care across the region and beyond.
Thank you to the organizers for the kind invitation and warm hospitality.”
