Holly Brown: Making Every Mile Count for Cancer Research UK

Holly Brown, Biological Science Student at Cardiff University, shared on Linkedin:

“Last month, two friends and I had a great time taking part in the Liverpool Pretty Muddy 5K in support of Cancer Research UK (CRUK). Together, we raised almost £500 for the charity.

I took part in support of friends and family whose lives have been affected by cancer. This made the experience especially meaningful to me, and we are proud to have played a small part in supporting the vital work being done to improve outcomes and give people hope.

As a Biosciences student with an interest in cancer research and plans to explore the field further in my final year, it was inspiring to contribute to a cause that is so important to me and to so many others.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated and supported us. Your generosity helped us exceed our expectations and made the day even more rewarding.”
