I receive it not only as a personal honor, but as encouragement to continue what I have always believed in: sharing knowledge, building bridges across regions, and working together to advance cancer care for patients everywhere.
For me, global oncology is about connecting people, creating opportunities for collaboration, and ensuring that innovation and progress reach patients regardless of where they live.
This recognition strengthens my commitment to supporting cancer care equity, particularly in LMICs, and to amplifying the voices of patients, healthcare professionals, researchers, and the next generation of oncology leaders.
