“I am honored and grateful to share that I have been shortlisted as a candidate for the Board of Directors of the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC).
I sincerely thank the Nominating Committee for their confidence. This recognition is not only a personal milestone, but also a reflection of the collective efforts of colleagues, partners, and organizations who share a belief in collaboration as the foundation for advancing equitable cancer care worldwide.
UICC represents a global community united in the mission to reduce the cancer burden, particularly in LMICs where the need is greatest.
