“I am pleased to share the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Egyptian Cancer Society ECS and the Egyptian Society of Surgical Oncology, a meaningful step toward strengthening collaboration in cancer care in Egypt.
This partnership represents a shared commitment to building capacity and capability by empowering healthcare professionals with the latest advances in surgical and medical oncology, advancing continuous medical education through joint workshops, webinars, and accredited programs, and expanding public awareness initiatives that promote early detection and cancer prevention nationwide.
The MOU was signed with Prof. Ahmed El Tony, President of the Egyptian Society of Surgical Oncology, in the presence of board members from both societies during the 21st annual conference of the Egyptian Society of Surgical Oncology.
Through this collaboration, we aim to bridge surgical expertise with clinical research and education, reinforcing our collective responsibility to improve cancer outcomes and work toward a better future for every patient.”
