The Yeolyan Hematology and Oncology Center and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia have jointly developed and approved the following documents:
- National Blood Service Standard
- Maternal Blood Service Standard
These documents have also been officially approved by the Scientific Council of the National Institute of Health of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia.
This important achievement marks another significant milestone in strengthening Armenia’s blood donation and transfusion system and in improving the quality and safety of blood services.

“New medical institutions are united around the idea of voluntary and involuntary blood donation, contributing to the development of safe blood supplies.
In June, the joint initiative of the Yolyan Center for Hematology and Oncology and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia was joined:
- The Courtyard Medical Center,
- Martuni Medical Center.
And the blood relay has been handed over to the National Center for Dermatology of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia.
Each newly joined health facility is another important step towards strengthening a culture of voluntary and unconditional blood donation and ensuring safe blood supplies.
