“Nomination / Appointment
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Pr Karim Fizazi as Chief Executive Officer of the Centre Oscar Lambret.
Pr Fizazi also serves as President of the Gustave Roussy Alumni Association and Professor of Oncology at the University of Paris-Saclay.
Biography: Pr Fizazi served as Head of the Department of Cancer Medicine at Gustave Roussy from 2005 to 2018 and was appointed full professor at the University of Paris-Saclay in 2009.
In 2013, he founded the Prostate Cancer Consortium in Europe (PEACE), and he currently leads several major European phase III academic trials under the PEACE initiative, involving more than 3,000 patients.
He is also President of the French Genitourinary Tumor Group (GETUG) and Associate Editor of the European Journal of Cancer.
Pr Fizazi has authored over 500 peer‑reviewed publications, and has h‑index of 128.”
