“I’m truly grateful to ESMO – European Society for Medical Oncology and American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) for two remarkable mentorship opportunities.
I’m honored to be part of the ESMO Virtual Mentorship Programme 2026, under the mentorship of Prof. Irene Brana, Group Leader of the Head and Neck Cancer Group at the Vall d’Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO), Barcelona.
At the same time, I have the privilege of participating in the ASCO Virtual Mentorship Program under the mentorship of Prof. Solmaz Sahebjam, Director of the Neuro – Oncology Program at Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center in the National Capital Region.
Having already had the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with both of them, I am especially grateful for their generosity, openness, and willingness to share their extensive clinical and research experience. Our first conversations have already been incredibly stimulating and have offered me valuable new perspectives for my own clinical and research work.
A sincere thank you to Prof. Braña and Prof. Sahebjam for their time and guidance, and to ESMO and ASCO for making these international mentorship opportunities possible.
I look forward to continuing to learn from two outstanding leaders in head and neck oncology and neuro – oncology, and to translating these experiences into meaningful clinical and research opportunities.”
