Giles Robinson, Neuro-Oncology Division Director at the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is the only freestanding pediatric cancer hospital in the United States, and every person here works collaboratively towards the goal of: Finding cures. Saving children.
I came here 18 years ago with the dream of becoming an oncologist, and I stayed here. This is one of the hardest places to work, but also the most rewarding.
There’s nothing like seeing a very sick child receive treatment, recover, and later thrive, sometimes even becoming a colleague or entering medical school. That’s the power of hope and science.
St. Jude continues to lead with advanced cancer treatments like proton therapy and by leveraging data science and research to transform knowledge into treatment strategies. Our goal remains unwavering: No child should die in the dawn of life.”

“So proud and fortunate to be part of the incredible pediatric brain tumor research community at St. Jude.”
