Alexandra La Guardia։ UICC and Fujifilm Europe Present “United by Unique” Exhibition in Geneva

Alexandra La Guardia, Campaign Manager at Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), shared a post on LinkedIn:

“If you’re around Geneva make sure to walk by our exhibition with Fujifilm Europe by the lakeside!

It features 21 people – individuals living with cancer, family members, caregivers – each sharing how cancer turned their life upside down. These images and stories remind us that every experience of cancer is unique, and that care is best when it’s built around the person as a whole, not only the disease.

The exhibit is part of the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC)’s 2025–2027 World Cancer Day campaign, “United By Unique”, which focuses on the importance of people-centred cancer care. An approach that engages health systems to improve the support, treatment, and quality of life of people affected by cancer by focusing on their needs, values, and active participation in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of care.

A big thank you to Eileen M. from Fujifilm for these beautiful pictures, ARC Document Solutions for printing, Ville de Genève for the space and Motherbird for the best bright orange design.”
