“We’re proud to announce that Foundation S has strengthened our collaboration with Direct Relief, as they become a logistics partner for our Rare Humanitarian Program.
This collaboration marks a major step forward in our commitment to improving access to specialty care for patients with rare diseases in low- and middle-income countries.
Starting with the Philippines, Pakistan, Kenya, Ethiopia, and Zambia, Direct Relief will help us scale operations – with the goal of supporting half of our rare program countries by early 2026.
This partnership builds on Direct Relief’s existing and ongoing role in our Emergency Relief and Humanitarian Aid donation program, which includes rapid response efforts and essential medicine access.
Working together throughout 2025, we have delivered consistent, life-changing support to vulnerable and displaced populations around the world. So far, we’ve completed 11 donations, including:
- August: 73,000 boxes of essential medicines donated to 22 LMICs across Africa, Asia, and Latin America – reaching 50,000 patients.
- July: Emergency support provided to victims of Tropical Storm Barry in Texas.
- June: 246,000 daily diabetes treatments donated to treat 8,000 patients in LMICs.
And since the start of our partnership in 2023, we’ve completed numerous donations, providing 18M daily treatments for over 1M patients.
Together, we will continue to drive meaningful impact through the power of collaboration.”
