The Patient Voice Must Help Guide the Work – Fight Colorectal Cancer

Fight Colorectal Cancer shared on LinkedIn:

Caroline Motycka, FightCRC’s Community Engagement Manager recently joined advocates and leaders at an advocacy summit hosted by Amgen, where one message came through loud and clear: the patient voice must help guide the work.

From the power of patient stories to the rapidly accelerating pace of science and technology, the conversations reinforced why advocacy matters at every step.

As Murdo Gordon, EVP, Global Markets and Policy at Amgen, shared, ‘We do things that have to be guided by the patients and the community. We cannot do the work in isolation.’

We’re proud to keep bringing the voices and experiences of the colorectal cancer community into rooms where decisions are made. Progress should always be shaped by the people it’s meant to serve.”
