A new RxPONDER analysis explored the predictive role of baseline AMH in determining adjuvant chemotherapy benefit.
Premenopausal women younger than 55 years with 1-3 positive lymph nodes, a Recurrence Score ≤25, and low pretreatment AMH (<10 pg/mL) did not derive benefit from adjuvant chemotherapy. This subgroup represented 20.6% of premenopausal patients in RxPONDER.
If validated prospectively, AMH could help identify patients who can safely avoid unnecessary chemotherapy.”
