Evis Sala, Minister of Health and Social Welfare of Albania, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Geneva/ Kick off the 79th World Health Assembly week and contribute to one of its first key discussions on protecting children from online harms.
As Minister of Health and Social Welfare of Albania and as a doctor, I reaffirmed Albania’s strong commitment to placing children at the center of our policies and reforms.
We are among the first countries in the Western Balkans to adopt a National Action Plan for the European Child Guarantee with a clear focus: prevention, inclusion, and leaving no child behind.
Ending violence against children cannot remain only a declaration of intent, it requires political courage and international cooperation.”
