European Cancer Organisation (ECO) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“As Ireland looks ahead to its upcoming EU Presidency, ECO is setting resolutions.
Cancer remains an immense challenge in Ireland with 44,000 people diagnosed with cancer every year.
European cooperation has helped turn ambition into action, making Ireland a champion of cancer prevention, treatment and quality-of-life policies.
In July, Ireland will get the unique chance to reaffirm its leading role on cancer policy and secure sustained political and financial support for cancer in the next EU long-term budget.
