European Cancer Organisation shared a post on LinkedIn:
“For women in the EU, breast cancer remains the most common cancer, with an estimated 375,000 new cases and almost 100,000 deaths recorded each year.
This Pink October, ECO and its Women and Cancer Workstream proudly support EUROPA DONNA – The European Breast Cancer Coalition and their call for 15 October to become Breast Health Day, promoting health equity through better prevention and screening.
This initiative was unveiled at the European Parliament with MEPs Romana Jerković and Nikos Papandreou.
Together, let’s ensure every woman across Europe has access to the timely information, screening, and care they deserves.
