ESO Reaffirms Support for Ukrainian Oncologists Under the Leadership of Alberto Costa and Fedele Gubitosi

European School of Oncology shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Last week, Dr. Alberto Costa, CEO of the European School of Oncology, inaugurated the course “Oncology Diagnostics: From Molecule to Patient.”

The initiative was made possible with the support of ESO Ambassadors in Ukraine, who proposed a highly relevant topic that brought together both international and local experts.

Following the inauguration, Dr. Costa gave the floor to Fedele Gubitosi, President of ESO and Managing Partner of Studio Rock, during a joint council meeting between ESO and the Foundation for Oncology Training (Fondazione per la Formazione Oncologica).

Speaking in connection with the Kyiv City Clinical Oncology Centre, Gubitosi, alongside Dr. Costa, expressed heartfelt solidarity and support for Ukrainian doctors, who have demonstrated extraordinary resilience and courage throughout three years of war.

In his address, Gubitosi emphasized that ESO’s mission extends beyond education. It also embraces international collaboration, grounded in the belief that art, sport, and science serve as powerful bridges between nations.

Through this gesture, the leadership of the European School of Oncology reaffirmed their closeness to the Ukrainian people and their ongoing commitment to causes of social and collective significance.”
