Emad Shash, Leading Cancer Researcher and Director at National Cancer Institute, Cairo University, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Proud moment for our team.
I am pleased to share that two abstracts from our work have been accepted as Oral presentations at MASCC/ISOO 2026.
The accepted work focuses on two important areas in supportive breast cancer care:
- Improving lymphedema awareness through culturally tailored preoperative audio-visual education
- Exploring losartan as a strategy to prevent paclitaxel-induced neuropathy
These acceptances mean a lot, not only because of the scientific recognition, but because they highlight research that is practical, patient-centered, and directly linked to better care.
Deep gratitude to my outstanding co-authors and collaborators:

Every such milestone is a reminder that meaningful collaboration can generate work with real clinical value.”
