ELLOK Welcomes Aris Angelis to the 3rd Synergies Forum on Cancer Policy, Research and Funding Strategies

“We are honored to welcome Aris Angelis, Secretary General of Strategic Planning of the Ministry of Health, Greece, to ELLOK’s 3rd Synergies Forum on Cancer Policy, Research and Funding Strategies.

Mr Angelis will participate in two important back-to-back round table discussions on Monday, 29 June 2026, addressing key policy priorities for the future of cancer care.

1. The first panel discussion, titled ‘Reforming Cancer Policy – Ensuring sustainable access to innovation’, will focus on the reforms needed to ensure that cancer policy delivers sustainable and equitable access to innovation.
2. The second panel discussion, ‘The Biomarker Forum: Aligning Quality, Reimbursement and Value in Precision Oncology’, will explore how healthcare systems can develop a sustainable and reliable molecular diagnostics ecosystem. Particular emphasis will be placed on the need for policies that recognize biomarkers as a critical tool for enabling more effective, personalized, and targeted care.
