The Egyptian Cancer Society proudly supports Professor Hesham Elghazaly, ECS President, in the UICC Board of Directors elections in October 2026.
Through his leadership of Egypt’s national cancer initiatives, Professor Elghazaly has helped expand early detection programs, strengthen research capacity, and improve access to quality cancer care. His commitment to education and international collaboration continues to connect Egypt, Africa, and other low- and middle-income countries in advancing cancer control highlighting the success stories in different LMICs to ensure that theses strategies are doable not only in computers
His candidacy reflects a commitment to:
- Strengthening global partnerships and South–South collaboration to reduce disparities in cancer care.
- Advancing research, innovation, and capacity building.
