”A New International Collaboration for Breast Imaging Education
We are pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Egyptian Society of Breast Imaging (EGSBI) and the Canadian Society of Breast Imaging (CSBI).
The agreement was signed by
- Dr. Supriya Kulkarni, President of CSBI, Breast Division Head and Associate Professor in the Department of Medical Imaging at the University of Toronto, and Staff Radiologist at the Joint Department of Medical Imaging, University Health Network.
- Dr. Merit Elmaadawy, President of EGSBI.
As the official breast imaging subspecialty society of the Egyptian Society of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine (ESRNM), EGSBI is committed to advancing education, collaboration, and excellence in breast imaging.
This partnership represents an important step toward strengthening international collaboration through:
- Joint educational courses, webinars, and workshops
- Scientific exchange and guest speaker opportunities
- Mutual promotion of educational activities and events
- Registration benefits for members of both societies
- Future collaborative initiatives that support professional development and excellence in breast imaging
