“Proctoclysis—slow infusion of fluids via the rectal route to hydrate terminal cancer patients who cannot tolerate oral fluids or standard IV/subcutaneous hydration.
It is, low cost, simple, low-tech alternative for fluid therapy with a small bore catheter into the rectum.
