“Today is World Patient Safety Day.
Every year, 4 million people in Europe are diagnosed with Cancer, but oncology professionals face overwhelming pressures that put both their wellbeing and patient safety at risk.
Burnout, staff shortages, and excessive red tape threaten the quality of cancer care across Europe. Yet, with stronger collaboration, fair staffing standards, and investment in workforce wellbeing and training, we can change this.
Let’s ensure every cancer patient receives safe, high-quality care by caring for those who care for us.
