Drew Moghanaki: ASTRO Meeting Highlights “Data to Dialogue” in Radiotherapy Communication

Drew Moghanaki, Professor, Chief of Thoracic Oncology at the Department of Radiation Oncology and Stanley Iezman and Nancy Stark Endowed Chair in Thoracic Radiation Oncology Research at David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, and Chief Medical Officer of Respirati, shared a post on X:

“Excited to know the theme for this year’s ASTRO annual meeting is ‘Data to Dialogue‘. As Neha Vapiwala often says, this means using the RIGHT WORDS to communicate the value of radiotherapy to our patients and the public at large.

The issue is important enough that there’s a dedicated presidential session where we will take a deep dive to learn more about this from our patients’ perspectives.”

Registration for the 2026 ASTRO Annual Meeting is now open!
