Divij Verma: Verma Lab Opens at Albert Einstein College of Medicine

Divij Verma, Research Assistant Professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Thrilled to share a major milestone, we are officially opening the doors of the Verma Lab (www.divijvermalab.com) at the Department of Pathology, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York!

Starting my own lab has been a long-standing dream, and I am incredibly excited and grateful to begin this next chapter. Our research will focus on how toxic environmental exposures and chronic inflammation reshape healthy stem cells and drive their progression into aggressive cancers. We aim to translate these insights into strategies that prevent or intercept cancer development.

A heartfelt thank you to my exceptional mentors Amit Verma, Ulrich Steidl, and Daniela Krause for their guidance, support, and belief in me throughout this journey.

We are a fully NIH-R01 funded lab and are hiring at multiple levels Lab Tech, Graduate, PhD, and Postdocpositions.

If you or someone in your network is interested in cancer biology, stem-cell research, or environmental health, please share this post or reach out. I’m excited to build a strong, collaborative team!”
