Darren J. Walsh: New Scoping Review Addresses Pharmacist Education in Geriatric Oncology

Darren J. Walsh, Geriatric Oncology Pharmacist at University Hospital Waterford, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article he and his he and his colleagues co-authored, adding:

“New publication alert

Those of you who know me will appreciate how important clinical practice in geriatric oncology, and pharmacist post-registration education is to me! To work on this scoping review addressing the educational needs of pharmacists to optimise medication usage in older adults with cancer with fellow pharmacist members of SIOG and the SIOG NAHS group was an absolute privilege.

A special thanks to Kavita Kantilal and Kumud Kantilal for their incredible leadership on this work, it is always an honour to work with them and the rest of the incredible pharmacists in this author group.

I’m already looking forward to our next collaborative piece of work!”
