Cynthia Cravo, Advanced BC Patient Advocate, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Why are we here discussing best practices if countries face such different barriers? Wouldn’t this be utopian? No.
The European Breast Cancer Conference closed with the manifesto session and its recommendations. This matters because progress in every community, society, starts with defining what ‘ideal’ looks like.
We need to be ambitious enough to imagine the best possible care for every patient, without letting current limitations shape that vision. If we begin with limitations, we limit progress itself.
And then, we work in partnership to find solutions within our current reality.”

Marzia Zambon, President of Europa Donna Albania, added:
“Exactly Cynthia! We will cross bridges when we get to them: let’s start walking along the riverbed and look at what is beyond, we might just find a ford.”
