“Contrast Mammography Workshop | Breast Cancer Hospital, NCI – Cairo University
This week, the Breast Cancer Hospital-National Cancer Institute, Cairo University, hosted a high-impact postgraduate workshop on Contrast Mammography: Advanced Imaging and Intervention, designed to deepen clinical insight and elevate diagnostic precision.
It was my privilege to organize this fully booked event, and it was a high honor to have it moderated by Prof. Maha Helal, whose pioneering work in contrast mammography continues to shape the field across Egypt and the Middle East. Her influence is not only technical, but also generational.
In collaboration with Prof. Samar El-Maadawy, Director of the Radiology Department, alongside a distinguished panel of speakers: Dr. Heba ElKassass, Dr. Sherihan Gareer, and Dr. Rana Hussein Khaled, each contributing with clarity, depth, and clinical rigor.
Geart appreciation for:
- Dr. Emad Shash, Director of the Breast Cancer Hospital, for his unwavering support and leadership
- And a special thanks to co-hosting partner GE HealthCare Middle East, Turkey and Africa in person of Ahmed Hikel and Abdullah Nabil.”
