Behind him stand over 27,000 blue flags – each one representing a young person projected to be diagnosed with colorectal cancer in 2030. These are people starting careers, raising families, finishing school, and planning their futures.
Lives that will be forever changed by this disease far too soon. Yet despite the growing crisis, colorectal cancer still has no dedicated federal research funding source. This rise demands real investment in research.
Take action: Call your members of Congress and ask them to support the creation of a Colorectal Cancer Research Program within the CDMRP to invest in lifesaving research.”
