City of Hope shared a post on LinkedIn:
“City of Hope broke ground on a new facility designed to unite cancer diagnosis and treatment under one roof.
The new Pathology and Radiation Oncology (PRO) Building at the Duarte campus will bring radiation oncology and a comprehensive pathology laboratory together in one state-of-the-art building, helping patients move more seamlessly from diagnosis to treatment.
The 125,000-square-foot, three-story facility will house advanced pathology capabilities spanning surgical pathology, cytology and microbiology, alongside modern radiation treatment spaces designed to improve both care and patient experience. The project reflects a more integrated model of cancer care, where each discipline plays a distinct role from precise diagnosis to targeted treatment.
For patients across the San Gabriel Valley and beyond, it means more advanced cancer care delivered closer to home.
Construction is underway.”
