City Cancer Challenge (C/Can) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Delivering quality breast cancer care requires more than just focusing on clinical excellence. It requires strong health systems, local leadership, and practical solutions that can be implemented in diverse healthcare settings.
These are just some of the themes that were at the heart of the launch of the second edition of Breast Cancer: Global Quality Care, a valuable new open access resource bringing together insights from more than 130 experts across 30 countries, on the importance of strengthening global breast cancer management.
It is a proud moment at C/Can as Lisa Montel, Technical Cooperation Manager, contributed and wrote chapters in this publication as well as speaking at its launch, helping to advance the global conversation on improving breast cancer care and outcomes.
The publication’s focus on translating evidence into action strongly aligns with C/Can’s approach. Through our city-driven model, we work alongside local stakeholders to identify gaps, strengthen cancer care systems, and support the delivery of quality care that responds to the realities of each community.
Congratulations to Lisa and all the authors, editors, and contributors who have created this important resource for healthcare professionals, policymakers, and partners working to improve breast cancer care worldwide.”
