City Cancer Challenge (C/Can) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“C/Can and MSD launched a new five-year, USD 10 million partnership: ‘Thriving Cities, Healthy Women’. Launched on 14 May, the partnership was officially presented at the Foreign Policy event ‘Cities for Health: How local leadership, data, and policy are driving the future of care’ during the World Health Assembly.
Through this partnership, C/Can and MSD will collaborate with 15 core cities across Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, and Latin America to address the critical gaps that lead to women’s deaths from cancer.
The initiative aims to enhance governance, improve referral pathways, elevate service quality, and promote data-driven decision-making throughout the cancer care continuum.
This builds on a shared conviction that when women thrive, communities and economies follow. Where you live and who you are shouldn’t determine the quality of cancer care you receive. This partnership is our commitment to changing that.”
