Christian Ntizimira: Discussing the “Safari Concept” Book at the French Institute

Christian Ntizimira, Executive Director of ACREOL and Faculty member of the Palliative Care Centre for Excellence in Research and Education (PalC), Singapore, shared a post on X:

“A look back at this wonderful event… Thank you to the French InstituteInternational Encounters of Francophone Books

I spoke about the “Safari Concept” and a painful truth: the suffering of families facing the end of life.

And a deeply African response:

Not death. Life to the very end.

To those accompanying a loved one at the end of life: I see you.

Palliative care is about loving better, relieving better, living better to the very end.

Thank you for the warm welcome around the “Safari Concept.”

An encounter that touches the heart: suffering, dignity, presence, solidarity.

Ubuntu is not a slogan, it’s a way of being together when everything is shaking.

Thank you to the French Institute and to all the committed individuals.

Thank you to Ms. Lee Fou Messica for the interest shown in the book, to Mr. Manzi Ndagijimana for the reading, and to Ms. Dominique Celis for this precious dialogue between fiction and reality.

Life to the very end.”
