Chris Jones: Research Training in Radiation Oncology – Global Pathways, Barriers and Enablers

Chris Jones, Clinical Lecturer in Clinical Oncology at University of Cambridge, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Very pleased to see our recent work summarising global pathways, barriers and enablers to research training in radiation oncology published.

This was a huge effort from Joanna Kucharczak in particular and is important given the disparity between the importance of radiation oncology to cancer care and the research activity that underpins it.

Joanna’s work hopefully provides a clear insight into how we can build improved research training pathways to help address this. Very grateful for exceptionally helpful contributions to this work from Anushka Irodi, Katie Spencer and Gerard Walls.”
