Chinmay Jani: From First Run to Major Impact at Dolphins Cancer Challenge

Chinmay Jani, Chief Fellow of Hematology and Oncology at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Miami, shared a post on LinkedIn:

Dolphins Cancer Challenge was my first-ever fundraising event – and my first run!

DCCXVI surpassed the the goal of raising 100 million$! I am grateful to my family, friends, and mentors whose support helped me contribute and raise $5,280 for this cancer research goal

The energy at the event was incredible – physicians, patients, survivors, families – all running and biking together after months of training. A powerful reminder of why we do what we do.

Thanks to our team leader Jaime Merchan , for including me and inviting me to join the Experimental Therapeutics team!

Special shout-out to my colleague and friend Stephanie Ioannou, who completed the 5K in her third trimester of pregnancy – truly inspiring!  Proud to be part of a community that shows up for cancer research in every possible way.”
