Childhood Cancer International shared a post on LinkedIn:
“We are pleased to share the publication of the Education Manual for Parents and Caregivers in Paediatric Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation — a new tool designed to support families throughout one of the most complex stages of childhood cancer treatment.
This manual is a valuable resource because it:
- Improves understanding of the procedure and its critical stages
- Reduces clinical uncertainty and emotional stress for families
- Helps prevent avoidable risks and complications
- Strengthens families’ active role in safe, shared care
- Promotes standardized concepts and common technical language across teams
Developed through a collaborative effort involving six Ministries of Health from the Andean subregion, Pan American Health Organization, ORGANISMO ANDINO DE SALUD ORAS-CONHU, and regional experts, this document is part of the South-South Cooperation project CCHD.
We invite our community to explore this important resource and share it with teams and families who may benefit:

Section 2
Section 3
Section 4
Section 5.”
