“Notice of Award – Advancing CAR-T and Gene Therapy in Qatar
I am proud to share that the Advanced Cell Therapy Core (ACTC) at Sidra Medicine has been awarded the Technology Development Grant by Qatar Research, Development and Innovation Council (QRDI) for: ‘Establishing a Premier Biotech Platform for CAR-T Cell and Gene Therapy Innovation.’
This award marks a major milestone for precision medicine and advanced cell therapy in Qatar. It enables us to build a nationally anchored, internationally competitive platform for CAR-T cell and gene therapy development and manufacturing, with the ultimate goal of making these life-saving therapies accessible to patients in need here in Qatar.
We are deeply grateful to Qatar Research, Development and Innovation (QRDI) Council, Vishnu Narahari and team for their trust and support in advancing high-impact biomedical innovation and translation into clinical care.
