“What a week… or rather what a very intense 10 days.
From delivering the second edition of the Cancer Planners Forum over three days, to organising and contributing to several events during WHA79, UICC has been fully engaged in important conversations around global cancer priorities, innovation, collaboration and public health.
Behind every session, meeting, speaker briefing, logistics challenge and last-minute adjustment is an incredible team effort.
Very grateful to all my Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) colleagues and partners I had the pleasure to work with so closely these past days. Long hours, quick turnarounds, problem solving in real time and a lot of teamwork — but also a lot of energy , commitment and shared purpose.
Proud of what we delivered together and grateful for all the meaningful discussions, new connections and collaborations that came out of these events.
Now finally taking a moment to look back before moving on to what comes next.”
