Childhood Cancer International – Europe (CCI Europe) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Ahead of the European Council and EU4Health Steering Group meetings (18–19 Dec), 38 health and patient organisations, including CCI – Europe, call on EU Member States to safeguard funding for health and civil society.
The EU4Health Civil society Alliance urges the EU to reinstate operating grants in the 2026 EU4Health Work Programme and secure a strong, dedicated health budget in the next MFF (2028–2034). Stable funding is crucial for patient organisations like CCI Europe. It allows us to plan, grow, and ensure patients’ perspectives are included in policy and research. Our independence and impact are at risk.
A healthier, fairer Europe is only possible if we protect the people and organisations making it real every day.
